Books make us fell, right? This. Discuss. Re-evaluate. Laugh. Cry. In short, they move us. And maybe they even make us better people.

I truly believe in the influential power of books, but also their ability to entertain and move the reader. Maybe it sounds a bit pompous, but that’s why I started working with books in the first place – in order to open doors to new worlds and allow the readers to take a peek into other people’s fictional or factual lives.

I’ve worked with books my whole life, with several genres and formats and in many different roles. I’ve done everything from exercise books to blog novels, from celebrity biographies to self-help, paperback and apps and worked as both a byer and CEO. However, it’s as a publisher I feel most at home and where I have the lion’s share of my experience.

At Forum I divide my time between a number of Swedish authorships and managing the imprint Lovereads – a boutique imprint publishing smart, modern romance. Romantic love novels with a happy ending, for, by and about strong women. It’s a privilege to work with such a popular and lust-filled genre, read by so many people all over the world. With Lovereads, I am constantly searching for that earth shattering love story, a story to divulge in, be gripped by, or run to.

As a publisher, I aim to always keep my finger on the pulse and chase the great story. In my opinion, it is the most important, and the most fun, part of this job.
